If you still think TikTok is about dancing and "get ready with me," you are way, way, way behind. There is MASSIVE opportunity on TikTok for companies who are getting in now. Here's why:

1. Social platforms feel extremely saturated right now. TikTok still has a fun, "the adults aren't here yet" vibe. It has its own sense of humor, its own references, and a high barrier to entry (because it's complicated at first to understand.) USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. If you can work with someone who truly understands TikTok, you could inexpensively knock it out of the park on that platform right now.

2. The algorithm is unmatched. You WILL find your people. And they will find you.
3. Yes, TikTok requires a pretty big commitment, of using the platform consistently to build an organic following. But TikTok also offers ads. The power and specificity of the TikTok algorithm + a TikTok-native ad = a successful combo. I'm trying my first one this week for an upcoming event, and I'll report back on how it goes.
4. If you're on social in 2025, you're probably already investing in short-form, vertical video (I hope.) Put that on TikTok. You're already making it.
